Encourage:  1)  a :  to inspire with courage, spirit or hope: HEARTEN

It also means to attempt to persuade: URGE,   to spur on: STIMULATE,   to give help or patronage to: FOSTER

Sometimes art can be heavy because LIFE can be heavy. I’m not denying that. As a carer for our eldest daughter who lives with chronic pain, and as someone who is recovering from brain trauma due to a car accident, I have some understanding. But I see beauty in the process of creativity and I feel that that journey can be shared – as it is breathed in and breathed out. Each of us need to be encouraged – to have courage – at some point in our daily living. I want to use my art-in-progress to express encouragement to you.

My thoughts:  if you are feeling low or uninspired or empty of ideas, if you need to catch a smile, get another perspective, find some camaraderie in your creative process, stop by and there will be something waiting here for you. It could be a painting or a drawing, photography, writing, collage – who knows? Maybe together we can find out.  beth reflection

  2. I am actually copying your definition here- it is so inspiring:

Encourage: 1) a : to inspire with courage, spirit or hope: HEARTEN

It also means to attempt to persuade: URGE, to spur on: STIMULATE, to give help or patronage to: FOSTER
